Religion verses TRUE Relationship

 

Many people get hung up on thinking that religion is all about going to church, following a list of do's and don'ts TO BE approved by God. Jesus (Yeshua) is looking for a heart relationship with individuals. He wants to get into your heart because He loves you! There is nothing wrong with going to church or fellowshipping or singing praise songs or listening to sermons or attending Bible studies. These can all be very good things. But a person can do ALL of these things and still not have a true relationship with Jesus.

 

Yeshua said "Matt 15:8  This people draws near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me." Jesus wants to have a full time "personal" connection with each one of us where we speak to Him and we listen to Him and we love Him in all that we are. Then we can truly learn to love our neighbors in like manner also!

The Word of God also teaches in 2 Tim 3:16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Tim 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Therefore, I have written the below articles to the best of my ability using my "most current" understanding. I have no problem with anyone who disagrees with my conclusions. All I ask is that "if" you believe I am incorrect, that you please correct me using Bible verses and explaining to me in a humble way why you believe that I am incorrect. I will have no problem going back and correcting anything that I could have possibly misunderstood, as I seek only to share the truth! Most of what I share are

OUR personal experiences as we have sought out the leading of the Holy Spirit. I am certainly not "perfect", so I can misunderstand things.

Some of you may disagree with some of these examinations, as they may not line up with some of the Christian teachings or views you have heard. I truly believe the Bible was written so that even a child could read it and understand it, "if" it is read allowing the Scripture to interpret Scripture. If that is true, then a person would need to seek answers they have as to what a "certain verse" or "set of verses" means by studying what ALL of the other verses "throughout the entire Bible" teach on the subject, rather than going to external sources for "opinions" or "teachings" of men.
