​Because Jesus is our example, we should live our lives as He lived His

1 John 2:6 whoever says he abides in him (Jesus) ought himself also to walk even as he (Jesus) walked.

Because Jesus told us to love others (neighbors) as we love ourselves

1 Cor 10:24  Let no man seek his own, but each his neighbor's good.

Gal 5:14  For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Because Jesus told us to share His love with others

Matt 28:19-20  Go you therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

Because Jesus offers salvation (eternal life) to all who will receive Him

 John 13:20  Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that receives whomsoever I send receives me; and he that receives me receives Him that sent me.

  

Rom 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him should not perish, but will have eternal life. 

​

Because Jesus is the ONLY one who can offer us eternal life!

Acts 4:12  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
