Are you truly happy?

Why am I asking this question? Because I have seen that many people live life daily NOT being TRULY happy. I have been in that place before and I am so thankful that I now live life where on a daily basis I am genuinely happy MOST of the time. I am also excited to share that "if" you desire this same thing, you can have it! Please let me share.

I am saddened when I see people nearly every day who appear to not know God or who openly deny God and I see how lost, unhappy, hopeless, discouraged and miserable they seem to be. I am especially sad when I see so MANY "professing" Christians who live their lives day after day in a basically unhappy and unfulfilled manner.

I am not saying that I am happy 24/7 or that I never experience periods of unhappiness or struggle with feelings of anger, frustration, anxiety, disappointment, fear, stress, insecurity, rejection, etc...  What I am saying is that I have arrived at a place in my life where I am able to overcome these negative feelings and emotions quickly and return to and remain in a state of happiness, contentment, joy, fulfillment and even excitement! I believe this is due to where I have grown to in my FAITH-walk with God and that anyone else CAN get to this place too.

God led me to a self-help Christian counseling ministry many years ago. A Christian brother shared with me how much healing he had received in his life and the joy in his life was unmistakable! He had me order a workbook and even though it took me months to even open the workbook, I finally started going through it and saw how much it was helping me. Jesus helped me find healing for my heart and this gave me the ability to be able to remain in this happy place that I speak of.

My daily happiness, fulfillment and excitement is certainly NOT all because of the counseling I am speaking of here, but this counseling did have a very profound positive effect toward healing my heart, and the hearts of numerous other people that I know who have gone through this same counseling. I would like to leave you with a verse that Heavenly Father has led us to open to in our Bibles repeatedly over the years, it is 3rd John 1:2 "Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers!"

Another verse that deals with happiness and joy is: John 16:24 where Yeshua said "Until now you have not asked for anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your happiness and joy may be full!

We pray that God may bring you healing and happiness as He has us, as you develop a deep personal relationship with Him in your pursuit of true happiness and joy!
